Kerala has been recognized as the top business-friendly state in the country, securing first place in the Ease of Doing Business Ranking 2022 under the Business Reforms Action Plan of the Union Ministry of Commerce and Industry. The award was presented by Union Minister Piyush Goyal to Kerala’s Industries Minister P. Rajeev in Delhi. Kerala achieved top positions in nine reform categories, including industrial and citizen service reforms, with a score of over 95 percent, highlighting its commitment to fostering a thriving business environment.
